Smart
TSpider makes use of AI in order to work in complex environments often encountered when tying rebar for architectural structures of various sizes.

Reliable
Our robot makes the tying of rebar safer, provides a consistent output in time and quality, and allows workers to focus on tasks where humans are truly needed

CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY CHALLENGES

-
Rebar tying is labour intensive and time-consuming
-
It takes multiple construction workers to tie rebar manually
-
Rebar tying must be high quality to ensure structural integrity
-
Canada is lagging behind developed countries when it comes to automation and usage of industrial robots
-
Expensive and requires specialized training
-
Enormous size and weight, leading to difficulties with installation, use and training
-
Setup time may be prohibitive for some projects
-
No vertical elements tying
-
Short charge duration and long charge times
-
Weather and worksite conditions can create dangers for the workers
CONSTRUCTION SITES IN CANADA
Construction sites in Canada are transforming into the next great frontier for robots. From self-driving heavy machinery to four-legged robots, the construction industry is fertile ground for innovation, with hopes that robots will improve efficiency and safety, and help solve persistent labour shortages. The machines make it safer for construction workers who no longer must go into potentially dangerous areas to do their work. The rebar knitting robot excels at doing mundane, repetitive tasks, and that frees up workers to do more complicated jobs. Our robot also improves productivity because it can be run for a longer period than any worker without needing a single break.
Rebar is a construction area that brings concerns regarding both productivity and repetitive-use injury, as individuals are either bent over tying rebar or using repeated hand motions during their whole shift. Employees are most productive during the early portion of a shift, but fatigue generally kicks in later in the day. When it comes to tying rebar on large, flat areas, bridges can be a challenge. One in three or four intersections is tied off in common construction reinforcement before concrete is applied. On a large bridge, that can equate to hundreds of thousands of rebar ties that have to be placed.
The rebar knitting robot was specifically created to alleviate that sort of workload and allow workers to focus on more creative tasks as well as safer ones.

TSpider
Our robot has unique characteristics that allow not only to save working time but also to significantly improve the quality of work performed and the reliability of tied rebar. Furthermore, it helps improve safety on construction sites.
The TSpider is unmatched on the market. We are proud to declare that our unique product will provide you with specific advantages and economic benefits over your competitors.
FOUR TYING GUNS/LEGS

Each step TSpider makes results in reliable, sturdy rebar ties. This not only secures the robot firmly on the rebar platform, but also greatly improves the tying speed.
360° SELF-TARGETING AI

Artificial intelligence and a camera with a 360* view allow the TSpider to independently determine the optimal route and tie rebar in the area without missing a single rebar intersection
TWO UNIVERSAL BATTERIES

When you buy the TSpider, you have the opportunity to choose one of four types of batteries, which will allow you to save money and not cause inconvenience at the construction site.
ANY DIMENSION APPLICABLE

As the robot grasps rebar intersections, it securely holds itself on the surface and can work both horizontally and vertically, regardless of weather conditions.
